The SFE Façade 2024 Design and Engineering Awards by The Society of Façade Engineering (SFE) and the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineering (CIBSE) recognise and reward excellence and achievements in façade engineering, raising the profile of, and drawing attention to, the importance of this discipline. Previous winners have included, Google Bay View in California, USA, Battersea Power Station in London, Bloomberg HQ in London, and the Morpheus hotel in Macau, China.

Multimodal design methods were used to explore formal expressions in bricks using parametric design. Technical, spatial, and environmental factors were used to define limits and variations in perforation through the façade. By using digital media design tools such as illustration and digital painting, the design process incorporated technical performance with creativity. The facade features the name and logo of the institution (ACPKHI) as a public landmark while on the opposite site, a large-scale portrait of the famous Pakistani artist Sadequain was possible while maintaining thermal performance. Brick Beading construction technique allowed for seamless integration and precision combining digital innovation with masonry.
